Sean Mundy is a fairly young photographer, which makes him easy to relate to. I’ve chosen to include him in my artist research because I absolutely love his work, both when it comes to his chosen themes and his stylistic approach. His work is visually beautiful, it’s quite simplistic and calm, but hard hitting all at once. He manages to get a strong message across even though his images are very minimalistic. I’ve looked at a lot of his work now, and you can easily see his development through the years, which is really inspiring to me. I’ve attached a selection of his work underneath, some of them solely because of their aesthetics, but some also for the story they tell.
